trying to make the real world live up to my imagination

Though I would ultimately like to focus in production design, the first place I found any confidence in my work in filmmaking was editing. I have a soft spot for the editing process. And just like makeup, editing is one of those things where I can't leave my chair until I'm happy with what I've done. Sometimes nothing makes me happier than sitting down in front of my computer, putting on my headphones and knocking out an editing project. There's something really satisfying about finding the story within a mess of footage and piecing it all together. Especially in moments where you know you've edited together two shots seamlessly that are from completely different days or audio from a different take and no one is the wiser. It's about finding the best moments and making them all work together, right?

Below are some examples of my work.

I don't always get to play the role of Editor, I've been lucky to also get experience in other roles such as producing, assistant directing, and writing. below are some of my favorite examples of my projects to come out of those positions.
